As we entered into the 21st century,the internet revolutionized how we consume information including trends in fashion.As social media platforms like Instagram, Pinterest and fashion blogs became popular, they gave rise to “fast fashion” where trends are constantly changing and consumer demand for new clothing is at an all-time high.

It has also become more diverse with designers from different backgrounds showcasing their designs on international runways. In addition, the concept of sustainable and ethical fashion has emerged as consumers become more conscious about their purchasing choices.
